Developing a unique scientific profile plays an important role in establishing a successful research career, also in view of applying for research funding. This workshop will provide important tools for the further planning of your scientific career through the development of your individual research profile. Information on funding and career development opportunities as well as awareness of your own strengths and interests are key for taking informed decisions on the way forward.

Dr. Beate Scholz is founder and director of Scholz CTC GmbH. She works internation-ally as a strategy consultant, trainer, coach and reviewer, and occasionally carries out research. Her focus is on career development of researchers, international research cooperation and the promotion of equal opportunity in the international research system. Until 2008 she was Pro-gram Director for Research Careers at the German Research Foundation.
