Zooming in on Climate Change: Assessing the importance of biological buffering of environmental stress with decreasing temporal and spatial scales
The most innovative aspect of this project is the breaking down of climate change questions to ecologically relevant scales and studying them at exceptionally high resolution. The main goal will be the characterisation of micro- to macrohabitat fluctuations and the response of organisms to this natural variability as well as the extent to which these habitat fluctuations mitigate future climate change impacts.
