Integrated School of Ocean Sciences (ISOS)
Education for "The Future Ocean"
The ISOS is the central platform for post-graduate education in marine sciences at the University of Kiel, and is part of the Cluster of Excellence “The Future Ocean”. We run a PhD programme in which approx. 130 PhDs from 5 faculties participate. The ISOS also conducts a range of open, interdisciplinary and career-oriented events involving partners from academia, public life and the media. Our multimedia production supports cluster members and students in the production of scientific content for presentations, web- or e-Learning.
